Terms and Conditions
By booking with Care Club, you agree to the following:
Meet & Greet
We may start with a complimentary meet and greet so we can get to know you, your pet, and their routine. This helps us make sure everyone feels comfortable and that we have the information we need to provide great care.
Home Access
Clients must provide a reliable way for us to access the home, including keys, gate codes, fobs, or any other needed entry details.
If we need to make copies of keys, a $10 key copy fee may apply. If key pickup or return is needed, a $25 fee may apply.
For gated or secured properties, please make sure we have a dependable way to enter. Remote gate access is not always reliable and may delay service.
Alarm Information
If your home has an alarm system, please provide clear instructions along with any codes or passwords we may need. Care Club is not responsible for issues caused by missing or incorrect alarm information.
Booking & Schedule Changes
All bookings, cancellations, and schedule changes should be made directly through Care Club. Please do not schedule directly with your sitter, as we need everything in one place to keep services accurate and organized.
Client Information
Clients are responsible for providing current information for their pets and home, including:
- emergency contacts
- veterinarian information
- feeding instructions
- medications
- behavior notes
- care instructions
- home access details
We rely on the information you provide to care for your pet safely and properly.
Payment
Payment is due before services begin unless another arrangement has been made in advance.
Same-Day & Last-Minute Requests
Same-day requests may include an additional $10 fee. Requests made within three hours of the service time, or on weekends or holidays, may include a $15 fee.
Holiday Rates
Holiday services may be subject to increased pricing. This may apply to:
- New Year’s Eve
- New Year’s Day
- Easter weekend
- Memorial Day weekend
- July 3, 4, and 5
- Labor Day weekend
- Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- the day after Christmas
Cancellations
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. This fee must be paid before future services can be booked.
Holiday cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice may be subject to additional charges.
Other People in the Home
Please let us know if anyone else will be in your home during the service period, including guests, housekeepers, contractors, friends, or family members.
Sole Care Provider
For the safety and consistency of care, Care Club should be the only pet care provider during the scheduled service period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Emergencies
If your pet has a medical emergency while in our care, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you right away. If we cannot reach you, you authorize us to seek veterinary care if needed.
If your regular vet is unavailable, we may take your pet to the nearest available veterinarian or emergency clinic. Any veterinary costs, medications, and transportation expenses are the client’s responsibility.
Backup Sitter
If your assigned sitter is unable to complete a visit due to illness, emergency, or another unexpected issue, you authorize Care Club to send a backup sitter.
Photos
By using our services, you give Care Club permission to take photos of your pet for care updates, our website, social media, and marketing. We will not share private personal details like your home address.
Minimum Visit Requirements
For your pet’s health and safety:
- Cats and small animals should not go more than 24 hours between visits
- Dogs must receive at least two visits every 24 hours
We do not offer every-other-day care if it would compromise your pet’s well-being.
Tips
Tips are never expected, but always appreciated.
Home & Property
We will do our best to follow all home care instructions provided. However, Care Club is not responsible for things outside of our control, such as leaks, electrical issues, weather-related problems, plant condition, or other home issues not caused by our negligence.
Clients are responsible for securing the home before leaving. We will do our best to re-secure the home after each visit based on your instructions.
Care Club is not responsible for theft, burglary, or other criminal acts unless caused by our negligence.
Pet Safety
Clients are responsible for making sure the home, yard, fences, gates, and latches are secure. Care Club is not responsible for injury, escape, disappearance, or other issues caused by unsafe conditions or unsupervised outdoor access.
General Terms
These terms apply to all pets owned by the client, including any new pets added after services begin, and to any home where services are provided.
These terms represent the full agreement between the client and Care Club and may only be changed in writing. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
